The hotel “Sette Querce” is situated just outside San Casciano dei Bagni, the southernmost village of the province of Siena. It nestles on a high plateau between Umbria,Lazio and the Val d’Orcia. The present building is a recently renovated thirty year old inn constructed of traditional building materials: brick,wood and internal walls painted with different colors. The decor, curated by Daniela with the invaluable support of the English designer Mrs Tricia Guild,is a happy union of traditional Tuscan furniture and the bright colors of the designer. The hotel has nine junior suites, most of which have their own private entrance, all with a sitting area and minibar, wi-fi , central heating and air conditioning. Breakfast is usually served in the room but, weather permitting, the outdoor terraces provide an ideal ambience for waking up in the midst of the oak trees which have given their name to the hotel. For lunch and dinner, just a short walk from Sette Querce, the Ristorante Daniela awaits you in the main square which overlooks the awesome panorama of the Val di Paglia and the Val d’Orcia, dominated by Mount Amiata and the fortress of Radicofani keeping watch over the Via  Francigena. The restaurant occupies the former stables of the castle and  has two dining rooms in which elegant simplicity is created through a harmony of stone walls and iron and wood furnishings.
