You mustn’t miss a visit to the baths of the Bagno Grande, the old wash houses located at the foot of the village, once the meeting point for washer women who exchanged gossip and country anecdotes to the sound of the washing of clothes. Here you will get a glimpse of village life where even today, amidst the vapors of the hot springs, small vegetable gardens are tended by the villagers. It is also the site of the ancient Clausine springs of the Roman imperial era , where poets and emperors came to regenerate their limbs, immersing themselves in hot water gushing from the earth.
